Product Description
This polyester filter replacement element for 1" filter systems is manufactured by Vu-Flow/Rusco.  This is Vu-Flow part number is NT30SC-[mesh selection], or Rusco part number is FS1-[mesh selection].  This filter element is from the original manufacturer, and manufactured for use with both Vu-Flow 1" T-Style filter systems (model NT-75) and Rusco 1" Spin-Down Sediment filter systems (model 1-F).  Vu-Flow and Rusco are the same manufacturer, out of the same location in Brooksville, Florida.  The screen shipped may have either the Vu-Flow or Rusco branding as both are identical.   The re-usable filter element screen measures 5½" x 1-3/16" and is available in several mesh sizes to meet your particular requirements. Also available in stainless steel (sold separately).
The information below notes general guidelines for mesh selection as provided by the manufacturer. Actual performance can vary due to variations in shape, size and specific gravity of the materials being filtered:
To filter water for -
* Shale, shell or debris: use 24 mesh (for general use purposes)
* Pipe scale or coarse sand: use 60 mesh (good for sprinkler systems, sand sensitive valves)
* Fine sand or grit from new wells: use 100 or 140 mesh (good for drip irrigation, sand sensitive valves)
* Very fine sand and grit: use 250 or 500 mesh (good for pre-treatment)
* Very fine sand and grit: use 1000 mesh (good for pre-treatment, R.O., Ultra water systems)
In general, use the coarsest screen deemed necessary to filter the material you want removed. This will result in longer runs between blow-downs.
Mesh / Micron correlation -
* 24 mesh = 711 microns
* 60 mesh = 254 microns
* 100 mesh = 152 microns
* 140 mesh = 140 microns
* 250 mesh = 61 microns
* 500 mesh = 30 microns
* 1000 mesh = 15 microns

Returns
Returns for new purchases are accepted within 30 days of receipt for a full product price refund. Shipping costs are not refundable except in the case of defect or error on our part. Return items must be in their original manufacturer packaging and original condition. Sales Tax
Sales tax will be automatically calculated and added to any order shipping to the State of Florida. Tax is calculated on the price of the item plus any applicable shipping fees.
Warranty Replacements
We directly honor all manufacturer warranties for all products we sell, whether or not it was purchased from us. All defective products covered under the manufacturers' warranty may be returned to us within the warranty period for a full product replacement. Shipping costs to and from SprinklerHUT on warranty replacement items are the responsibility of the buyer.
