    Description

This is a gorgeous baby feeding high chair. I do not know if it is legal or safe to use anymore for anything other than display, so I am selling it as such for display purposes.
This chair is extremely unusual because it bears the image of the Northwind face on the headrest of the highchair. Finding a North Wind face on a piece of furniture is uncommon, this is the first time I have ever seen one on a baby high chair. The close-up pictures of the Northwind face look a little redder than it is in person. The other photos show more accurate color.
The previous owner was an elderly woman who indicates that the chair is mahogany and dates to the late 1800s. She had this labeled on the underside of the chair(see pic). I don’t know if that means the wood is mahogany or just the finish, I am not knowledgable enough to know the difference.
This chair is in overall very good condition with minimal wear. The bentwood arms and spindles add lots of character. The wooden tray is attached to the chair by arms and can swing up and over the back of the chair. The last picture shows that there is very minor damage to the tray. When the tray is swung behind the chair it can be used as a youth chair once the child no longer needs to use the tray
Please examine all photos closely, including with magnification, as they are considered part of my description. I am not always able to point out every little defect or flaw, please assume that there may be some imperfections due to the fact that this is a vintage piece of furniture.
The high chair measures approximately 43 inches tall by 16 inches wide by 20 inches deep.
I do domestic USA sales in the lower 48 states only, I do not do international sales. Some items may be partially disassembled to reduce shipping costs. I have a friend who packages and ships my items, he generally ships once a week or every other week. In rare cases, if the box dimensions exceed FedEx limits, shipping costs jump to over 5. If this happens I would probably have to cancel the sale.
