Antique 19thC Meissen Porcelain Floral Demitasse Cup & Saucer Porzellan Tasse

For sale is
a demitasse sized cup and saucer for Mocha or Espresso coffee made by Meissen in in the late 19th century . It is the same design as the Hofservice made for the personal use of Kaiser Wilhelm the Second. Only difference really is that it does not have his monogram mark on it. A superb cup and saucer decorated in the Alt Brandenstein Pattern with a relief design to the rim with four hand painted bugs in between, a large central floral arrangement to the saucer and three larger flower arrangements to the cup as well as some scattered smaller flowers. Gold trim to the edges and handle. The set is in perfect condition. The saucer is 0.875 inches tall and has a diameter of 4.25 inches. The cup is 1.375 inches tall and has a diameter of 2.5 inches. Both pieces are marked underneath with the under glaze blue crossed swords as well as the usual impressed numbers common to Meissen pieces of this period as well as a painter's number 35 on the saucer.
