In 1910 John Boultbee and his son Wilfred Mason Brooks filed two patents relating to improvements in satchels, backpacks and the like. Both of these patents ensured a more equal distribution of the load on the straps and greater stability of the bag while pedaling. With this in mind we have developed our new BARBICAN shoulder bag, featuring a shoulder strap that can be easily attached around the waist while running. The belt is the innovative part of this bag. Once adjusted to the desired length, depending on the rider's height and waist, the belt can be left loose to carry the bag over or over the shoulder while walking. For added stability while running, the belt can be easily fastened around the waist by simply pulling the two ends of the belt and locking them in the center with the "Sam Browne" fastening.
