Rare Meissen Large Fruit Dessert Server Bowl Circa 1815 Gold Edge Hand Painted
This was a first quality Meissen piece Circa 1815
Meissen Germany large hand painted porcelain dessert or fruit charger - server. Scallop rimmed edge with hand painted fruit to the central area and fruit around the rim with gilt accents. Meissen Germany mark to the underside base.
Measures approximately 11.75 inches diameter x 2 inches tall
Condition: Very good condition. No chips or cracks. NO CRAZING. Gold gilt shows some minor wear. Please see all the pictures.
Has Several small raised areas throughout fruit center. This is part of the manufacturing design. These are not chips or utensil marks. Please ENLARGE the pictures and examine this closely. This is on all the fruit and berries but it’s especially clear on the peach and flower center. Please see the pictures.
