MEISSEN PORCELAIN COVERED TUREEN W/ UNDERPLATE, EMBOSSED, CROSSED SWORDS, MSS13
Available for your consideration is this absolutely stunning covered tureen or
serving bowl with underplate by Meissen in the MSS13 pattern. Made in Germany.
This beautiful white footed porcelain dish with handles is scalloped and decorated with colorful flowers, moths and insects. Cover same with wave form handle. Oval underplate is scalloped with embossed basket
designed rim
and scalloped edge in gold.
Assembled set measures approx. 14 3/4" long, 11" wide and 10 3/4" tall.
Covered dish measures approx. 9" wide, 14 5/8" long across the handles and 10 1/2" tall.
Underplate measures approx. 14 3/4" long, 11" wide and 1 3/4" tall.
Signed on the underside of the bowl and platter with the Meissen blue crossed swords.
The set is in very good to excellent condition. No chips, cracks or repairs. Seldom if ever used.
