RARE Antique Late 19th c MEISSEN Porcelain of VENUS & CUPID- Incredible, RARE piece!
Late 19th/Early 20th Century, Blue Crossed Swords Mark, Incised 0.161 and 50, Impressed 137. Painted after the model eras.
Modeled as Cupid standing before his Mother, Venus, the Goddess of Love.
Venus is confiscating his bows and arrows, seated on a rocky mound above a rocaille-moulded base.
It stands approx. 8" tall. The base measures approx. 41/2" x 3 3/4"
This gorgeous signed Venus & Cupid signed Meissen Porcelain is very rare in this condition.
I see NO problems, NO breaks, NO chips, Nothing missing, No problems.
