    Description

    I'm
    pleased to present this lovely, and quite rare (
    difficult
    to find) set of five (5) antique (1934-1945) finger/nut bowls with hand-painted flowers and bugs from the highly esteemed Meissen. This set includes the following:
    One 4-1/4" scalloped (with points) edge dish with purple trim, in outstanding condition
    Three 4-1/4" scalloped (with points) edge dish without a trim, in outstanding condition
    One relatively large 4-3/4" perfectly round dish with gold gilt trim, 2 of which are in outstanding condition, and 1 of which has a small 1/2" chip at one of the points along the scalloped edge (see pic 12)
    The underglaze crossed swords Meissen makers marks indicate that they were made between 1934 and 1945, but I am unaware of what the other marks pictured indicate.
