Protect your sail during storage with this marine canvas bag. Holds the spar, sail, & mast.
The fabric is water resistant but unless the seams are treated with a waterproofing agent - water could seep in through the stitches if the cover is left out in the weather. There are a number of products made for this purpose and are used on canvas tents to keep them waterproof. Amazon has these products.
There is a drawstring closure.  Made of 8 ounce 100 % Polyester Marine Fabric.  Approx. 22 inch circumference and approx 173 inches long.
This particular sail/mast bag has a seam down the length on each side as opposed to my other bags which only have one seam. One seam can be turned down so water cannot get through the stitches during a rain or snow event. With this one which has two seams, and if you need it to be waterproof, the seams would need to be treated with a waterproofing agent such as is used on tents, etc. as mentioned above. If you store your sails indoors then no problem.
