Vintage Meissen Square Serving Bowl Blue Onion Crossed Swords Marked as Second
This is a large Meissen serving bowl in the Blue Onion pattern dating from 1852 to 1870. It is marked as a second with 2 slashes through the crossed swords mark.
Measures 10.5 inches in diameter and is approximately 4 inches deep.
Condition is very good. No chips, cracks, or crazing. There are what appear to be 2 manufacturer's flaws on the rim where the glaze did not cover. (Please see photos).
